McNae Energy and Solar recommends and installs Enphase micro inverters and Sungrow and Fronius string inverters. Micro inverters are used in nearly all our residential installations, while String inveters tend to be used in larger commercial systems.

We install many more micro inverter systems than string inverter systems. The reasons for this are two-fold. First, because of the inherent advantages of micro inverter technology, and second, because of our huge buying power, we can install a micro inverter system at little more cost than a string inverter system.

String inverters

String inverters work best for unshaded roofs and they are more cost effective for larger systems. We recommend Sungrow and Fronius string inverters. They are the premium products with long warranties. Both Sungrow and Fronius have been makeing inverters for more than 20 years and have a strong history of reliability, innovation, and great service and warranty support.

Installing batteries?

 An Enphase micro inverter system uses a small DC to AC inverter under each panel. This means that each panel’s performance does not affect any other panel’s performance. This panel independence ensures maximum output of clean renewable energy for your household.
